Sticky Beef Stir-Fry with Scott’s Crispy Onions


(Serves 4)

1 packet Scott’s Chinese Salt & Chilli Crispy Onions (although we would hate to limit your cravings)
450g chump steak, sliced into long thin strips
2 tbsp olive oil
1 red or yellow pepper, deseeded and sliced into thin strips
2 tbsp runny honey
3 tbsp teriyaki sauce
2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
2 tbsp water
1 tbsp finely grated ginger
6 spring onions, sliced




In a small bowl whisk together the honey, teriyaki sauce, chilli sauce, water and ginger.

Put a large non-stick frying pan on high heat. Then add the olive oil and beef and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes or until browned.

Meanwhile heat Scott’s Crispy Onions according to the packet instructions (30 secs microwave/ 2 mins hot oven). Next add the pepper and stir-fry for 1 minute.

Now add the teriyaki sauce mixture to the beef and bubble briefly. Scatter over the spring onions and cook for a few seconds until they just start to soften.

Transfer the stir-fry to a warmed serving dish and pile on Scott’s Crispy Onions. Serve with rice or noodles.
